Bible Text: Acts 2:42-47 | Preacher: Donnie Case | Series: Courageous Church | Francis Chan, in his book, Letters to the Church, says we live in a time when people go to a building on Sunday mornings, attend an hour-long service, and call themselves members of the Church. Does that sound shocking to you? Of course not. This is perfectly normal. It’s what many of us grew up with. We all know good Christians go to church. But when we read the New Testament we find nothing in Scripture that even comes close to this example. People in the New Testament era didn’t go to church because they were the church. They were being the church.
