Forgetfulness is a common yet deadly spiritual disease. Much of Moses’ message to the Israelites in Deuteronomy is warning them not to forget the Lord and exhorting them to remember Him and His salvation, and in the book of Joshua we see that not only are they to remember but they are to set up a memorial to help future generations to know and remember.
