But the fact is, God has a lot to say about giving in the Bible because what we value most reveals our hearts, and we must understand that God is not willing to share our hearts. He demands absolute devotion, so He speaks often about the danger of putting our hope and faith in money or material goods rather than in Him. His solution for this idolatry is for us to give.
