Only Jesus!

Try this: Lay a blanket on the floor and pretend it is water. Take turns walking, hopping, etc. on the “water.” Talk about how Jesus did lots of things only He can do, like walk on water! People wrote about what they saw, and we can read it in the Bible.

Paper Hearts

Today, practice cutting hearts. Fold paper in half. Draw half of a heart starting at the folded edge. Cut along the line. Unfold the paper. Talk about how hearts make you think of love. God loves us SO much, He gave us Jesus to be our friend forever.

Blow the Horn!

Today, get a horn and go outside. Play a game where one runs to a tree, car, bush, etc. while the other blows the horn when they run back. Talk about how the father had a party when his son came back, because he loved him. God loves us no matter what, too!

Today, Google “printable preschool body puzzle,” choose a puzzle, print a copy, and cut apart the pieces. Do the puzzle with your child as you talk about how God made each part. End saying, “God made us, and because God made us, He loves us very much.”

Shout It Out

Try this: Get paper, crayons, stickers, and tape. Ask your child to name people. Write the names on the paper. Allow your child to decorate the paper. Roll the paper to make a megaphone and tape the edge. Use the megaphone to say together, “Jesus is alive!”

Tomorrow, invite your child to help you make breakfast. As you eat, tell your child, “Jesus made breakfast for His friends on a beach. Jesus wanted His friends to know that He is alive and He wants to be their friend forever.”

The Tomb Is Empty
As you drive or take a walk, take turns with your child naming friends. Some of them should be the same. After all, family can be friends, too! Talk about how Jesus wants to be our friend. In fact, Jesus wants to be our friend forever!

The Stone Was Rolled Away…

Today, sit with your child and roll a ball back and forth to each other. Each time your child rolls it to you, say, “Jesus went away.” Each time you roll it back to your child, say, “Jesus came back!”
